I am aware that this embarrassed and upset many people, but a legal accusation should not be based on emotions, it should be purely based on fact. I would also like to address the fact that Sophists were well known for charging fearful fees for their services.

Socrates did not make a profit in his attempts to pass the people of Athens. This can be noted by the state of poverty that Socrates lived in.
